SUMMARY:Essentials of Sync - with Brian Scally (Part 1)
DESCRIPTION:Following a really successful and well-attended workshop earlier this year\, Brian Scally (Co-CEO of Paragon Records and Milestone Music Management) returns to host another two sessions devoted purely to music for film\, tv\, advertising and games (also known as Music Synch). \nThese sessions will be via Zoom\, so as to allow mentees from all over the island of Ireland to attend. Similar to his last session\, these workshops will be very interactive where Brian will answer as many questions as he possibly can\, and go into as much detail as he possibly can\, around all areas of synch\, including: \n• An overview of sync licensing in domestic markets such as Ireland + UK as well as Europe\, and US/Canadian opportunities. \n• How best to reach key decision makers. \n• Tips for anyone intending to market their own music to music supervisors and creative decision makers. \n• Chat about some real life music briefs Brian and his team have received over the course of 2023 to date\, and discuss them with mentees. \n\n
